Hello. My name is Dr. Zachary Puckett. I was born in Mt. Juliet, TN and graduated from Mt. Juliet High School. I was born into a family of teachers with my mother, brother, and sister-in-law teaching Special Education, History, and Math respectively. I attended Austin Peay State University. I graduated from APSU in the Spring of 2016 earning a Bachelor of Science in History with a minor in Professional Education and a focus in Economics. I graduated with my Master of Education in Reading Specialties in 2019 from Austin Peay. I graduated with my doctorate in Middle Grades Curriculum and Instruction with a focus in Social Studies Education from Liberty University in April of 2024. My research focused on mitigating achievement gaps on the Social Studies TCAP I currently live in Clarksville and am married to my wife, Ashlee, who is a cardiac-cath nurse in Nashville.
