My name is Camilla Hernandez, and I am excited to teacher another fabulous year in 8th grade at Richview! This marks my 12th year as an educator, during which I taught 5th grade for six years, served as the academic coach for four years, and taught 7th and 8th grade ELA and Social Studies in previous years.
In addition to teaching, I will be coaching Richview's girls basketball team and supporting first-year teachers as a Site-Based Induction Specialist. I have a deep passion for history and English, both informational and literary. I strive to share this enthusiasm with my students through engaging lessons and meaningful instruction.
Outside of the classroom, I am an avid athlete, with basketball being my favorite sport. I have also enjoyed coaching cross country and softball in the past. I am truly looking forward to a wonderful school year filled with academic growth and life learning experiences for our students.
