Hello and welcome to 7th grade math! I am excited to be teaching at Richview. I earned my Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and my Master's from APSU where I specialized in middle grades math. I always knew I wanted to teach middle school, but math kind of found me. Now it's my absolute favorite subject to teach and something I am very passionate about. I'd love to share the story of how math education earned a special place in my heart with you. Just ask me sometime. 🙂 I have high expectations of my students and truly believe that ALL students can be successful in learning mathematics. I love bright colored flair pens, hanging out with my family, practicing yoga, and teaching middle school math. Oh, and chocolate!

School Supplies

Each student will need the following supplies for daily use in math class:

  • A Folder to keep your math notes in.
  • Pencils
  • TI-30X IIS scientific calculator in the color of your choice. I do have a class set to share during class, but you may want your own.
  • Disc Tipped Stylus Having one of these makes it SO much easier to write on your laptop screen.
