I am so excited to be a Cobra and to be working with you and your student this year in 6th Grade English Language Arts! I have previously taught both 6th Grade and 8th Grade English Language Arts, as well as Response to Intervention (RTI). I received my Bachelor's Degree in Education from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio, and earned my Master's Degree in Education from Lipscomb University in Nashville. My interests include using student data to drive instruction, social emotional learning, and building resiliency in students. My hobbies include reading, running, golfing and watching sports (especially baseball and college football)!

My childhood dream was to be a teacher and our students are my "Why" for coming to work every day. While some may not enjoy reading, my response to that is simply, "You just haven't found the right book yet!" I look forward to the year ahead and learning and laughing all along the way! Go Cobras!
