History Day Winners

We had 4 out of 5 projects place at the History Day Contest on Friday.  Students who win 1st or 2nd are eligible to compete in the state contest on April 4th.


3rd place for their Group performance: Women’s Suffrage: The Women Who Impacted the 19th Amendment – Grace Hirsch, Alex Lundquist, Breonna Tuller, and Hope Holloway.


3rd place for their Group documentary: Rachel Carson: Breaking Barriers and the Silence Around DDTs – Tom Bean, Ryan Bellamy, Annlee Head, and Savannah Spencer.


3rd place for Individual Documentary: Elizabeth Blackwell: Shattering Stereotypes and Saving Lives – Katelyn Mann


2nd place for Group Website:  Wilma Rudolph: Helping Break Racial and Physical Barriers in History – Zoe Cobb, Ella Smith, Lucy Burnette, and Sophia Lawless.

Superior Award – Choral Festival

Our 8th grade choir students represented Richview well today, in the CMCSS Choral Festival at Kenwood Middle, and received a Superior trophy.  Thank you all for your continued support the choir students.

Our Girls Basketball team is headed to STATE.  They won the region last night against Rossview Middle.  They will head to play at State next week.  More details to come.

Congratulations girls, and keep it going.  Bring home the “dub”!!!!

Girls Basketball

The girls basketball team won in the regional semifinal game last night against Station Camp, 53-45. They will play Wednesday at 5:30 at Rossview High School for the Regional Championship. Congratulations ladies, and go get the next WIN!!!!!

Talent Show

Richview Talent Show will be held on Tuesday May 12 in the theatre.  Auditions will be held on Tuesday, April 14 in the theatre after school (2:30-4:00).  Attached is the schedule for the performances.

Gateway Honor Band

The Gateway Honor Band Festival was this past weekend. We are excited to announce that 20 made it! Over 150 7th and 8th grade students from CMCSS, Stewart, Cheatham, and Dixon county auditioned and our school has a very strong representation with 4 students making 1st chair in their sections. Congratulations to the following students. They worked incredibly hard outside of class on the music for the audition.
