Student Led- Conferences & Celebrations

The Cowboy Up! Committee has been working tirelessly to make our next Student-Led Conferences & Celebrations (SLC&C) evening spectacular!
We are going to have several mini-seminars in the Theater for parents, to include the following terrific topics and speakers. See chart below!

We also will have presentations in the cafeteria by some amazing people!
In addition to our RMS Choir and Band performing, we will have several clubs and organizations such as RMS Robotics, Battle of the Books, Stick Sports, Chess Club, CHS Nutrition & Dietetics, and CHS Advanced Manufacturing & Robotics course information.
Mrs. Griffin has arranged for a special art exhibit where our student-artists will record presentations about their artwork linked to QR codes for viewers to listen and learn more about their artwork. The Chess Club will have an informal tournament between CHS and RMS students, and boards will be available for free-play for anyone who wants to join in. Our CMCSS Wellness Coordinator, Ms. Massman will be in the cafeteria with wellness information as well.
Back by popular demand is our Cowboy Up! Photo Op and some of our RMS Cheerleaders have volunteered to help take pictures for our families. Be sure to stop by prior to conferences to get your picture made with your team! We’d love for you to share them with us by joining the Photocircle now at:
For our busy and hungry visitors, faculty and staff, Gray Smoke BBQ’s food truck will be out front starting at 4:00.
There will be a long, blue door-flier with information about a parent survey and QR code link. During SLC&C, parents are encourage to take the survey and participate in our mini-seminars. If parents or guardians are unable to access the short survey from their device, Ms. Marik will be in the cafeteria with the iPad station for them to take the survey before they leave. After submitting their survey responses, parents will be given the opportunity to enter a drawing for some very nice RMS t-shirts and gift certificates from Gray Smoke BBQ.

There will also be a district basketball game starting at 6:00, so concessions will be open as well. Come cheer on our girls!

Jr. Civitan will be holding its annual Crushgram fundraiser February 3-7.  Crushgrams will be delivered February 14.  Last year your generosity allowed every student at Richview to receive a Valentine and a Crush soda.  If you would like to make a monetary donation to buy Crushgrams for those students who do not receive one from a friend, please e-mail Mrs. Stamper ([email protected]).  Please put “Crushgram donation” in the subject line and let her know how much you will be able to donate.  Parents can make donations any time between now and February 7.

This year all proceeds will be going to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
