January 30th Conferences

January 30th will be our 2nd student led conference this school year. We have changed the name to student-led conferences and celebrations because this will be a night of showcasing all of their hard work. Band, choir and art will present their work and we will have businesses from around the community participating in this exciting night.

If you attended the student led conference in October we would love for you to provide some feedback in the survey included in the messenger email.  If you do not receive messenger emails, you may access the survey on Richview’s webpage.

Cowboy Crazies

At our next home game vs. Rossview on December 19th, we would like to introduce the idea of having an official student section. For this inaugural event, students will pay a discounted $1 and stay after-school to “tailgate,” by eating pizza (thank you, BETA), making pump-up posters, and learning chants to support our teams! Before game time, we would like to have a short ribbon-cutting ceremony to officiate the student section named The Cowboy Crazies (our own middle school version of the high school’s Clarksville Crazies).

1000 points!!!!

One of our Richview basketball players reached a special and rare achievement by scoring 1,000 points in her middle school career. Congratulations Imari on this awesome milestone!

Please come to our home game on December 19 (game begins at 6) as we formally recognize her for this achievement.

We also want to thank Montgomery Central Middle for being a gracious host allowing us to celebrate this event.

Jr. Civitan is once again sponsoring another Clothing Drive to support AMVETS! The container is in our front parking lot from now until mid-January. This will give our surrounding community plenty of time to clean out their closets to make a donation. The container is weighed at the end of the clothing drive and Jr. Civitan receives the proceeds. Last year, we profited about $400. As a reminder, we are collecting gently used clothing, shoes, belts, linens, stuffed animals and toys.
