I graduated from Murray State University with both my Bachelor's and Master's degrees and received my EL Endorsement from Tennessee Tech. I have taught Spanish, German and ESL, Kindergarten through college (graduate & post graduate), at home and abroad, in traditional and online classrooms for nearly three decades. I have been with RMS since 2007. Each day, I look forward to those "Ah-hah!" moments in my students' eyes - that is my purpose, to inspire my students to success.
Aside from work, my wife and I have been married for over 31 years and have two sons. I enjoy cooking, growing tropical plants, and have been a beekeeper for over 20 years.

I currently teach ESL and am the RMS Chess Coach and Energy Champion.

Classroom Expectations

Each year the students come up with, and agree to, their own classroom rules. Our only rule is BE RESPECTFUL.

Classroom Links

Our learning integrates technology, this is known as Digital Blended Learning (DBL). We have a traditional classroom and we are also online where assignments and links for exercise and practice are encouraged while at school, and everywhere that internet is available.
